Wrotham to Trottiscliffe

Park on Old London Road, Wrotham. Meet near playground. After leaving Wrotham, we head across the A20 towards Pilgrims Way.  Many good distant views.  There will be a brief stop at the St Peter & St Paul Church in Trottiscliffe.  A Grade I listed building that dates back to the 11th century. Walk then goes through the village of Trottiscliffe, past Wrotham Water and back towards Wrotham. Mostly well-established footpaths along Pilgrims Way with some road walking. Quiet country lanes. Two stiles.  Undulating in places but no steep hills. Approx. finish time 13.00 hrs or stay for lunch at the Rose and Crown, Wrotham which is a 9-minute walk back to start. EX 148.
