Ashdown Forest

Starts from Kings Standing CP. EX135. Lunch at Fairwarp, possibly at the Foresters Arms or bring a picnic. A lovely walk of two halves - a great ramble over the open landscape of the heights of Ashdown Forest - enjoy the expansive views and sense of remoteness together with mixed woodland and a chance to visit the Airman's Grave. Finish off with an ice cream at King's Standing! 1300 ft of ascent/descent.
