We also have many members from Greenwich, Bromley and Kent.\n* For a brief history of NWK published on the Group's  50th anniversary, see the [New Boundaries Article](https://www.nwkramblers.org.uk/about-us/new-boundaries), written by Stuart Booth - our current Chairman.\n\n## Where We Walk \nAreas we walk are Kent, Surrey, Sussex and sometimes in Essex. We also lead walks in London including outer boroughs. \n \n## Type of Walks We Offer\n\n* Walks to suit different needs and abilities. All our walks are led by experienced voluntary leaders. \n* We provide walks every Wednesday and some Week-Ends.\n* Half day walks are either Morning or Afternoon and they are about 4 to 5 miles at an easy and steady pace.\n* Whole day: Short walks are 6 to 8 miles at a more relaxing pace; Medium walks are 7 to 9 miles at a steady pace and Long walks are 10 to 12 miles at a moderate to faster pace. Whole day walks include a lunch break at the half way stage, when we can socialise and enjoy refreshments in a pub or picnic nearby.\n\n![](https://www.nwkramblers.org.uk/api/aws/s3/site-content/901695fd-8c79-4b62-bc78-2a0380a66e38.jpg)\n\n## Come and Join Us\n\n* We are a very friendly group who welcome people of all ages.
